Oneness Through Art, L3C Sets to Raise $10,000 Through Crowdfunding Platform Kiva-Zip

Oneness Through Art, L3C is a social enterprise venture with a stated mission of Uniting People through the Arts. They are raising 1st round funds through the Kiva Zip Micro-Loan Platform to develop the animated series MyKids Unite© and #HumanityRising Arts Outreach Projects.

The inspiration for Oneness through Art, L3C creative projects is Florentina, an artist with special needs who found her voice through art. “Born on a train in Romania, she lived her first 3 1/2 years in an orphanage. Over the years she faced discrimination and mistreatment within school, from other parents and society as a whole. Through it all Florentina remained resilient, heart-centered, forgiving and happy - Art became her voice” says Founder and Executive Creative Director Andrea Clarke.

They are raising 1st round funds through the Kiva Zip Micro-Loan Platform to develop the animated series MyKids Unite© and #HumanityRising Arts Outreach Projects. The MyKids Unite Team are illustrated versions of Florentina's MyKids Friends that she began creating to have friends of her own. “They Celebrate Friendships for All, Kindness to Animals and a Healthy Planet Earth! Their Missions Take Them on Adventures to Support the Environment, Social Causes and Freedoms to Live, Love and Create in Peace and Harmony with One Another!”

The MyKids Unite© Cartoons dive head-on into the realities of social issues and environmental causes with an energetic and magical twist.  For ages 13 to 103, the first 11-minute episode centers on the disappearance of bees. Season One is slated for eleven, 11-minute episodes that will stream through platforms for public viewing.

Andrea Clarke shares “When writing the episodes, it’s important to marry the evolutionary stance and individuality of each MyKids character while remaining factual within the story line.  Specific to each episode topic we will partner with organizations that offer solutions for anyone to get involved and make a difference. For example, ridding the oceans of plastic the MyKids Team will explore in Season One episode 2 - Surfers, Dolphins, Turtles and um…Plastic?!”
