OnWall Solutions has reaffirmed its social commitment by joining this year's exotic car show that aims to raise funds to fight the scourge of pancreatic cancer
Online, July 24, 2012 (Newswire.com) - OnWall Solutions, a leading garage organization company in Toronto, has announced its active participation in this year's edition of the "Yorkville Exotic Car Show" and has become one among the four official gold sponsors.
With the incidence of pancreatic cancer reaching alarming proportions in North America, the sponsors of this event aim to utilize the proceeds towards educating the population on the causes and symptoms of this disease, as also to support clinical research in finding more effective treatments.
Pancreatic cancer is the fourth-ranking cause of death among all major malignancies in Canada and has the lowest five-year survival rate
This year's edition of the "Yorkville Exotic Car Show 2012" is slated to gross over $ 30,000 with the entire proceeds to be used to fight the growing menace of pancreatic cancer.
"We got involved with the Yorkville Exotic Car Show 3 years ago since the beginning due to the fact that all proceeds go to great causes. This year it went to prostate cancer and here at OnWall we have a giving attitude and love to see this killing disease disappear."
"Our relationship with the major car clubs is getting stronger and the connection with having fancy cars and giving those fancy cars a home (nice finished garage) is what we love to do all day long" A spokesman for OnWall Solutions said on being selected as a gold sponsor for a consecutive third term
The Yorkville Exotic Car Show is an annual mega event where spectators are treated to an awe inspiring display of powerful, sophisticated, high end supercars that have achieved legendary status.
From an unheralded beginning three years ago with 60 cars, the Yorkville Exotic Car Show has gained immense popularity with this year's edition expected to showcase over 160 high-value vehicles on Toronto's "Mink Mile", the trendy section of Bloor Street between Bay and Avenue Road.
The cars on display will range from pristine vintage models to modern, ultra-high-performance sports machines and include McLarens, Ferrari 430, Porsches, Bentley, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, Rolls-Royce, Corvette, Shelby Cobra and Mercedes-Benz among others.
This year's show is timed to coincide with the death anniversary of Phil Downe,'s father who incidentally had died of prostate cancer on Father's Day
