Florida Point is a great spot for bird watchers, with many sightings of herons, loons, seagulls, egrets, and pelicans. In fact, it's the start of the Alabama Coastal Birding Trail. West of the Perdido Pass is a seawall and jetty frequented by fishermen.

However, this beach is next to Romar Beach Condos, which has grills, picnic tables, and a swimming pool if you wanted your wedding party and guests to stay right at the wedding site.
