Oregon Health Care Association Recognizes Avamere at Bethany Employee for Enriching Lives

WILSONVILLE, Ore., October 15, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Livia Thompson, Senior Life Enrichment Director at Avamere at Bethany, received the Enrichment of Life Award from the Oregon Health Care Association.

Thompson has worked at Avamere at Bethany, an independent living, assisted living, and memory care community, for 14 years. She considers residents as an extension of family as she forms personal bonds with them, listens to their stories, and offers activities to help them engage mentally and physically.

Her work is a true example of Avamere’s mission to enhance the life of every person they serve.

Thompson earned an OHCA award alongside two other Avamere employees. OHCA recognized Aleksandr Vinokurov, Administrator at Avamere at Sandy, as Administrator of the Year and Melissa Bruce, Vice President of Community-Based Care Clinical Services for Avamere, as Nurse Leader of the Year for CBC.
