Organizational Symposium - Group Coaching
Online, July 9, 2012 (Newswire.com) - An organization is made up of people, who take up roles and perform tasks to meet organizational goals. While achieving organizational goals, one may face concerns related to role clarity, ambiguity of organizational vision, employee ownership, lack of leadership and many others. A technical problem eventually finds a solution due to its linear way of operating. However when it comes to people related concerns, nothing is linear. The more the number of people, the more the views and ideas. At times it could also lead to more chaos. While chaos is good for growth, it becomes a hindrance when not dealt with at the right time.
Payal Gupta an OD Consultant and Coach, will be facilitating the Organisational symposium (OS). OS is a gathering where 2-3 key decision makers of an organisation meet key decision makers of other organisations. To explore their core organisational concerns around:
- building leadership capability
- developing effective working relations
- creating the desired organisational culture
- managing roles, responsibilities and organisational structure
- dealing with communication blocks
- and other human aspects of the organisation
This is a not a technical or a theoretical session. It is not a PPT session. It would be a group Coaching form, so it gives you the benefit of working with your key organisational leaders and leaders of other organisations. The session is exploratory and is not of an expert giving you advice. It will help you in looking at your leadership styles and how your employees relate to you in your role. What are the blocks. The method used would be systemic group coaching and organisational images.
