The Academy Award (Honorary Lifetime Achievement) winning director Roger Corman is returning to Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance as the guest of Gregory Berkin, the director/producer of the feature film series The Pebble Beach Experience premiering at the Sunset Center in Carmel on August 13 and 14th during Monterey's famed car week.

This legendary producer (and writer) Corman produced the original classic road racing film "The Fast and the Furious" (1954) which was shot with the world renowned Pebble Beach Road Races and Concours d' Elegance as the backdrop.
Exclusive selected footage from the full length feature film documentary The Pebble Beach Experience documentary will be screened as part of the program at this years Celebration at the Sunset Center. The full length feature film has been meticulously assembled over the past two and half years and will chronicle the six decades of the Pebble Beach Road Races and Concours d'Elegance including special events, celebrity interviews and judges of this year's Concours to be released in 2011.
The rare film series is a centerpiece event for "Car Week" commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Contour d' Elegance and the Pebble Beach Road Races. Through the vision of acclaimed director, Gregory Berkin, The Pebble Beach Experience, after this year Concours d 'Elegance shooting is scheduled for worldwide distribution, which chronicles pioneering automotive visionaries who initiated the greatest sphere of influence in the realm of style, speed and spirit in the automotive world.
The film includes rare cars, vintage photographs, movie footage, racing footage, historians, and interviews with numerous car enthusiasts such as Directors John Lasseter and Roger Corman, comedian/actor Tonight Show Host Jay Leno, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and others.
