PacificHost Partners With GlobalSign To Implement Automated SSL Across Its Hosting Services

PacificHost adopts the easy-to-install GlobalSign OneClickSSL plug-in for its customer base

PacificHost, a leading provider of Linux-based cPanel hosting solutions for social media and video sharing websites today announced its partnership with leading SSL Provider, GlobalSign. PacificHost will offer GlobalSign's Security Solutions via the cPanel hosting control panel with GlobalSign's OneClickSSL for Certificate issue at the click of a button.

PacificHost recently switched their SSL certificate provider to GlobalSign to increase its portfolio of available SSL Certificates and provide a more feature-packed solution to its customers. PacificHost offers a variety of SSL Certificates from basic Domain Validated SSL Certificates to the most advance Extended Validated SSL Certificates, which activates a green address bar in the latest browsers.

The OneClickSSL technology developed by GlobalSign, offers customers fully automated SSL installation directly from cPanel as well as other control panels and webservers. With OneClickSSL customers purchase a Secure Site Voucher from PacificHost, which then is redeemed using their cPanel platform. The redemption of the voucher launches the entire SSL ordering and installation process and the plug-in will transparently create the CSR, validate the domain control, install the issued certificate and bind it to the appropriate website, all without any involvement from the end user.

"We are excited to be launching this technology and offer it to our customers. It helps to alleviate the support load on our end from having to assist customers in installing their SSL certificates, but also makes it faster and easier for our customers to install and setup SSL Certificates on their own, all without our help." said Thomas Perry, president and CEO of PacificHost.

"We are excited to welcome aboard PacificHost as our newest reseller who has chosen to benefit from the cost savings that OneClickSSL immediately provides," says Frank Romito, Manager of Strategic Partnerships, GMO GlobalSign, Inc. "We believe OneClickSSL is one example of GlobalSign's continued efforts to provide more value and benefits than any other player in the market."
