Pair Launch MIX Networking Group

Online, September 13, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Raleigh, NC - Marnie Settle of Summit Creative and Hadley Watson of White Oak Properties announced today that they are launching MIX Networking Group. Mix is a group of Raleigh professionals who gather monthly in a social setting, with the mutual intent of forming business associations and friendships. Mix was created for driven professionals and entrepreneurs intent on growing their business organically - the old-fashioned way - by meeting new people and discovering common interests. Based the fact that most business comes from referrals and friends, Mix seeks to bring together colleagues from different fields who can assist each other in personal and professional growth and development.

The first Raleigh MIX event is scheduled for October 13, 2010 at 101 Lounge located at 101 Palladium Plaza, 444 S. Blount Street in Downtown Raleigh from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Subsequent events will occur on the second Wednesday of every month at various locations around Raleigh.

At MIX events members mingle with professionals working in the Raleigh area from all fields and backgrounds. According to Ms. Settle, "There is no business card pushing or agenda at MIX. Our members want to make connections and form friendships and alliances they can use personally and professionally."

MIX is currently accepting new members. Membership is free with some functions requiring a minimal payment at the door. Events are sponsored by local businesses who obtain exclusive advertising prior to and during the event.
