Pakistan - First Global Halal Congress

Online, November 27, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Recently Pakistan has came up with a change in Halal sector where government policy is to support Halal production in Pakistan. Government of Pakistan has not only established Pakistan Halal standards for producers but also set guidelines / requirements for Halal certifiers. These recent developments will affect Import and export of the country.

In this case to develop a mutual understanding (among national & International Halal Certifiers) Halal Developmental Council (HDC) along with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) took the initiative to arrange Pakistan's first Global Halal Congress on 4th Dec. 2010. Invitation for the participation is for all Halal Certifiers around the world (without any invitation / participation criteria) to get a mutual understanding and awareness of Halal standards.

To facilitate Halal in Islamic Republic of Pakistan which is the second biggest Muslim population, HACI invites International Halal certification bodies to join this event. Where HACI supports the participation in this event and appreciate the good intentions of all those who are coming to this event.
