WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., January 3, 2019 (Newswire.com) - A grand celebration of the Great American genre of jazz will be presented on April 13, 2019, at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts - Rinker Playhouse in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The 2019 Palm Beach International Jazz Festival is a full, one-day, two-concert event with multiple bands featuring highly acclaimed as well as young aspiring jazz artists who perform in and around South Florida as well as around the world.

The Palm Beach International Jazz Festival Organization is committed to providing a true jazz festival experience for its audience by selecting young jazz artists to seasoned jazz professionals who will present an authentic traditional jazz concert setting.
FESTIVAL LINEUP:
MARLOW ROSADO - High-energy, eclectic and amped-up 2-time Grammy winner, artist, producer, songwriter; Marlow Rosado, has over two decades experience in the music industry. With two Grammys and eleven nominations under his belt, Marlow is undoubtedly a driving force in the Latin jazz music industry.
AVERY SOMMERS - A South Florida treasure and Broadway veteran with a “powerhouse” voice (New York Times) and charismatic stage presence. Avery recently performed her new one-woman Concert, "For Sentimental Reasons," in the Helen K. Persson Hall at The Kravis Center (February 2018) and also performed her one-woman show, "I Love Being Here with You," to two sold-out houses at The Kravis Center in April 2016. Recently nominated for a 2016-2017 Carbonell Award for Best Actress in a Play/Musical for her starring role as Bessie Smith in "The Devil's Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith" at the Theatre at Arts Garage in Delray Beach Florida.
RICH SWITZER TRIO – Rich Switzer is a gifted multi-instrumentalist/composer, entertaining audiences in South Florida for the past thirty-two years. He is co-host of “The Morning Lounge with Jill and Rich” on Legends 100.3 FM WLML, and an honorary board member of The Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook. He has worked on stage and in the recording studio with Mary Wilson of The Supremes, The Four Freshmen, Avery Sommers, Nicolas King, Ann Hampton Callaway, and Faith Prince.
YVETTE NORWOOD-TIGER - An international jazz vocalist, recording artist, songwriter, vocal coach, The Recording Academy (GRAMMY) voting member, and founder/director of the Palm Beach International Jazz Festival Organization. Yvette has performed sold out/standing room only concerts at Royal Albert Hall in London, England, the Muizenberg Jazz Festival in Cape Town South Africa, as well as at one of the top jazz venues in Berlin, Germany (B-Flat Jazz Club). She has also performed at Palais des Beaux-Arts (Bozar) in Brussels, Belgium in addition to various venues in New Jersey, New York, Florida, and Michigan.
ERIC & THE JAZZERS – A pre-eminent south Florida jazz quartet comprised of a group of professional musicians who graduated from schools such as Berkeley, U of Miami, Indiana Conservatory of Music and others. Eric & The Jazzers perform all the Jazz standards from the great era of Duke Ellington, Dizzy, Bird, Coltrane, and Miles Davis and others jazz greats.
CLANAVEN BALDONADO WITH THE JAZZ ON J STREET ENSEMBLE – A Young Artist Award winner (2015/2016) for the Society of the Preservation of the Great American Songbook who is an up and coming jazz vocalist from Palm Beach County. She will be backed by the Jazz on J Street Ensemble, headed by flutist Blanche Williams.
