Palo Alto Family YMCA Embraces 2012 with 7-Day Free Pass to Help Others with Their New Year's Fitness Resolutions
The Public Is Welcome to Try Out the Y For A Week Free During January
Online, January 5, 2012 (Newswire.com) - PALO ALTO, CA - Palo Alto Family YMCA announced today that during the month of January it is offering free 7-day trial passes to anyone interested in checking out the facility and participating in the more than 100 fitness programs it offers. Passes are available by stopping by the Y located at 3412 Ross Road and picking one up.
"With the start of a new year comes the time when those who postponed their fitness goals the previous year decide with renewed energy that January is the right time to make that New Year's resolution to create a fitness routine or set a goal to improve their overall health and wellness," said Diana Turner, Group Wellness Director. "At the Y, we want people to see that health and wellness can be a life-long change, not just a short-term goal. Our resolution is to help new members who come to us for the one-week trial period to realize the importance of a long-term lifestyle change, and help them find a fitness program they can stick to."
The one-week trial pass is good for seven consecutive days, so even if an individual begins their seven days at the end of January, the pass would still be valid going into the beginning of February. Every person who joins the Y after the 7-day pass ends will receive a free gym bag and a Healthy Family Home guide. There are no contracts, and there is a 30-day money back guarantee.
Additionally, the Y will be holding a drawing, with prizes that include an iPad, 6-month facility membership, $50 Target gift card, and $50 REI gift card. This giveaway can be entered by redeeming the one-week trial pass online.
