Online, July 14, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Out of the Blue® and Dr. Stephen Blumberg are unveiling his drug-free approach to conquering panic. This program, panicLINK®, uses the latest advances in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for panic disorder to empower individuals through a guided approach to taking control of panic.
PanicLINK combines CBT with the unique Missing Link component, developed by Dr. Blumberg. This combination is what makes panicLINK's approach one of a kind.
The Missing Link component works by identifying the triggers for panic symptoms and guiding individuals to understanding their own Missing Link to a panic-free life. "The Missing Link component is what patients will use following treatment," says Dr. Blumberg. "With this final discovery phase, patients are set up to live a more productive, more rewarding, panic-free life."
The educational program is designed to create the experience of one-on-one individualized treatment with Dr. Blumberg. Individuals are guided through four phases from the initial steps of immediately taking control of panic through the final discovery of the Missing Link component.
Specializing in the treatment of panic disorder for nearly three decades, Dr. Blumberg has guided over 5,000 individuals to live a panic-free life. Dr. Blumberg spent the last eight years developing this four component multi-media program to recreate and bring to life exactly what he said to patients in their private sessions. "When recording and editing the 12 session program, I imagined that my patients were right in the room with me."
