Calvary Chapel in Old Bridge, NJ, hosts nationally known author, syndicated columnist, radio talk show host and family psychologist John Rosemond for a two-day Parenting Conference on November 6 - 7, 2016.  One of America’s busiest and most popular public speakers, Rosemond is known for his relaxed style and sound advice for parents.

Rosemond will present various practical sessions for parents during the conference, to be held at Calvary Chapel Old Bridge, 123 White Oak Lane, Old Bridge. On Sunday, November 6 from 2:00 - 6:00pm, Rosemond will present principles from his best-selling book, Parenting by the Book. On Monday, November 7th from 9:30 -11:30am, he will present “You’re More than Just a Mom!” and from 7:00-8:15pm, the topic is, “Fostering Responsibility in Your Teenager.”

Rosemond has been featured on television programs like 20/20, The Today Show, and Good Morning America, and has authored 18 books on parenting and family life, including his recently released, Grandma Was Right After All!  For 35 years, he has written a nationally-syndicated parenting column, which appears in over 200 newspapers nationwide. His radio program, Because I Said So!, can be heard on American Family Radio networks on Saturdays at 6:00pm EST. Rosemond’s books include Because I Said So!, A Family of Value, and the Six Point Plan for Raising, Happy, Healthy Children. Rosemond’s common-sense advice has gained much credibility with today’s parents who are tired of techniques and methods that simply do not work.

To eliminate obstacles to parents wishing to attend, Calvary Christian School and the Family Ministry of Calvary Chapel Old Bridge are offering childcare during the conference.  On Sunday, November 6 at 2pm, childcare is available for children ages three through fifth grade.  On Monday, November 7 at 9:30am, childcare is available for infants through fifth grade, and in the evening at 7pm, childcare is available for children ages six and under.

The parenting conference with Dr. John Rosemond on November 6-7, 2016 will be held at Calvary Chapel, 123 White Oak Lane in Old Bridge, NJ.
