Parkatmyhouse Selects GlobalGiving UK as Partner for Environmental Initiative

Online, June 14, 2010 (Newswire.com) - LONDON, 14 June 2010 -Parkatmyhouse.co.uk, the online private parking marketplace, has selected charitable foundation GlobalGiving.co.uk as partner in a new environmental initiative. The collaboration offers Parkatmyhouse customers a means of lessening the environmental impact of their car journeys through supporting locally led social and environmental projects that fall outside the remit of retail carbon offset provider schemes.

Parkatmyhouse now donates 10p from every booking to five GlobalGiving projects in less developed countries. The company will also offer a carbon calculator for motorists and a donation option at check out for customers who wish to give more towards GlobalGiving projects.

All Saints Church in Islington has just exceeded the £50,000 mark after only two years of renting its spaces near to St Pancras station.
