Parker & Sons Supports the Special Olympics With Their Everybody Wins Program

Phoenix, AZ, July 9, 2015 (Newswire.com) - The Special Olympics started as a summer camp for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. But, the camp exploded into one of the largest charity events in the world. Indeed, the Special Olympics supports over 4.4 million athletes, and empowers the countless number of people who struggle directly or indirectly with an intellectual disability. Some of the events include: table tennis, snow skiing, powerlifting, bocce, basketball, archery, track and field, swimming, diving, gymnastics, ribbon dancing, and skeet shooting. The Special Olympics also biannually hosts the world games. This year they take place in LA.
