Partnership Expansion Between Pyradia Inc & Codere SA

Online, May 25, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Codere SA, Swiss manufacturer of heat treating solutions, travelled to Longueuil, QC, last week, to meet with the sales and engineering teams from Pyradia.

Pyradia is already holding an exclusive license for the commercialization and manufacturing of Codereґs systems in North America. A fully automatized bell furnace modular system - line 250 - was recently installed at a major bearing manufacturing site in the US.

Following this success, Pyradia and Codere decided to strengthen their relationship with Codere now offering drop bottom ovens for Aluminum heat treating from Pyradia in Europe.

Both organizations, equipped with highly qualified engineering teams, have developed innovative solutions for heat treating operations for the aerospace and automotive industries.

The system 250 developped by Codere is a modular bell-furnace with stations separated functionally and a direct quenching transfer. The quench transfer system for loading from the furnace to the tank is carried out by simply sliding the load without any hooking mechanism and the furnace-quench tank transfer time is less than 15 seconds. This system is particularly suitable for production of parts in medium and small production runs requiring flexibility of heat treatment parameters (temperature and atmosphere).
