Pasadena Villa Outpatient Expands Mental Health Care With New Outpatient Clinic in Lansing, Michigan

Pasadena Villa Outpatient Lansing

Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare, a leading provider of high-quality mental health treatment services, has announced the opening of a new Pasadena Villa Outpatient Center in Lansing, Michigan. This facility is the second outpatient clinic in the state, alongside its Troy location. Complimented by the Great Lakes residential facility in Battle Creek, Odyssey’s expanding presence in Michigan reinforces the company’s commitment to increasing access to essential mental health services in the state. The new center is part of Odyssey’s growing Pasadena Villa Outpatient network, with locations across Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Recent data from the National Alliance on Mental Illness highlights the urgent need for mental health resources in Michigan:

  • 1.4 million adults in Michigan are affected by mental health conditions, with around 350,000 experiencing serious mental illness.
  • Nearly 40% of adults report symptoms of anxiety or depression, yet many lack access to adequate counseling or therapy services.
  • Michigan faces a shortage of mental health professionals, with many residents living in underserved areas struggling to find the care they need.

The launch of our Lansing clinic represents a significant milestone in our commitment to improving mental health care access across Michigan,” said Scott Grismore, Group CEO of the Odyssey Outpatient Network. “We are proud to offer evidence-based, personalized, and accessible treatment options to support those in need throughout the Lansing community.

The new Lansing clinic offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults (18+). Within these flexible treatment options, clients can seamlessly transition between levels of care as they progress through recovery, ensuring their treatment aligns with their evolving needs. Each client’s journey is further supported by close collaboration with community providers, promoting a continuum of care that strengthens support to ensure a long-lasting recovery.
