Passkey 8.0.3.4 Improved "Ask Region" Logic

Online, July 27, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Passkey 8.0.3.4 was released on July 26, 2011 with shinning improvements and new features. It improved "ask region" logic for DVD and Blu-ray, rewrote UDF 2.50 parser, and added support for new Java-based protection.

Passkey allows user to set up region code for DVD/Blu-ray disc before throwing itself in to gear. User can configure Passkey to ask about the region each time before opening it, or can specify one region for the later operations. This doesn't always bring the biggest convenience to user. Sometimes you're asked again and again to select a region code for the same disc, while sometimes, you have to set again for another region code beforehand if you're going to change to other different region discs.

An effort about the above imperfection was made in Passkey 8.0.3.4. Starting from this version, Passkey is clever enough to ask user about the region code only when needed. It's a tiny improvement but it means a lot for a great user experience.

Along with this "region code" logic update, Passkey 8.0.3.4 also added support for new Java-based protection, and rewrote UDF 2.50 parser. Passkey will always move on to serve user better and better.
