Paul G. Stern Joins EARTH COUNCIL GENEVA As A New Board Member
The Non Governmental Organization, Earth Council Geneva ((ECG), welcomes the addition of Dr. Paul G. Stern to its Board of Directors.
Online, February 28, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The Non Governmental Organization, Earth Council Geneva ((ECG), welcomes the addition of Dr. Paul G. Stern to its Board of Directors. Dr. Stern has had a long and esteemed career, balancing excellent business acumen with a concern and passion for the arts.
Currently Dr. Stern is Chairman of Claris Capital, presiding Director of the Dow Chemical Corporation, and also serves on the Board of the Whirlpool Corporation. He is a member of the US Council on Foreign Relations and the Gore 2000 Group, serves as a trustee for the Hudson Institute and the Library of Congress, and is a Board Member of the John F. Kennedy Center for performing Arts. He is also a Board Member of the National Symphony Orchestra.
Dr. Stern received a Master's Degree in electronic engineering from the Steven's Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in solid state physics from the University of Manchester in the UK. He served as Chairman and CEO of Northern Telecom, as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Unisys Corporation, as director of the ManTech International Corporation, and, in addition, has served on fifteen other corporate Boards.

The Earth Council Geneva is a non profit organization founded in 2002.
