Peabody's Donates $1,000 in Turkeys and Hosts 1st Annual Pool for Presents Toy Drive

Online, December 10, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Peabody's Entertainment Complex, will hold its 1st annual Pool for Presents Toy Drive beginning on Dec. 11, 2010. Peabody's is donating $1000 in turkeys to the Salvation Army and hopes to collect additional donations of toys, canned foods and monetary donations in exchange for free pool at their billiards hall. All donations to go towards the Tampa area Salvation Army and will be collected at Peabody's Billiards and Games at 15333 Amberly Dr. in Tampa from 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11th to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17th.

Each person with a donation of either a new unwrapped toy or 10 cans of food will receive a voucher for 1 hour of FREE pool at Peabody's Billiards and games.

"Everyone at Peabody's is excited to launch our first annual Pool for Presents Toy Drive to help the Salvation Army for the holidays. We are donating over a thousand dollars in turkeys and wanted to find a way our customers and friends in the community could have some fun, while making a difference to the families and children who depend on the Salvation Army for the holidays," said Courtney Alberigo, Director of Marketing for Peabody's, a division of Real Talent Inc.

Needed items are: canned and non-perishable foods, new unwrapped toys and monetary donations made payable to: Salvation Army.
