Peak Performance in Grand Rapids Opens Second Office
Online, September 23, 2010 (Newswire.com) - GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan -- Peak Performance Chiropractic, a natural health care clinic specializing in corrective care utilizing massage therapy, chiropractic, detoxification, nutrition, exercise and stretching, has hired four new employees and is opening a second office at 6750 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Suite K, to better serve its clients in the West Michigan area.
Dr. Mike Kwast, CEO of Peak Performance, said he decided to open the Kentwood location to provide convenient access for patients in the southern end of metro Grand Rapids area to his clinic's natural health care system. Peak Performance has 13 full-time employees working at its main office at 4150 East Beltline Ave. NE.
"We are seeing a definite increase in the number of patients who prefer to be treated naturally, using our ProAdjuster technology that both maps the areas along on the spine that have restricted range of motion, and applies gentle computer-controlled amounts of pulsating pressure to relieve muscles that are tight and spasming," said Kwast, who established Peak Performance in 1998. "Patients also are eager to learn more about prevention and changes in lifestyle -- proper nutrition, exercise and stretching -- that will restore their overall sense of well being."
In addition to his role at Peak Performance, Kwast is a frequent lecturer in the West Michigan area regarding injury prevention and healthy lifestyles that individuals can adopt to maintain active lives. He holds a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, San Jose, Calif., and is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
