Pelican Shops Annual January Blood Drive

Online, January 16, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The month of January is Blood Donor Recognition Month. Pelican Shops is offering free lift tickets to all skiers and snowboarders who donate blood at any of Pelican's Blood Drives during the month of January.

Every January, Pelican Ski Shops recognizes Blood Donor month by giving away free lift tickets to all donors. Each Friday in the month of January, the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, the Morris Plains NJ Pelican Shops location will host the blood services in their store. All skiers and snowboarders who donate are eligible to receive an unrestricted one-day lift ticket.
On every Saturday throughout January, the 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th, the Whitehouse NJ location will host the Blood Mobile at their store.
To be eligible to donate blood a person must be at least 17, be in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds.
