People TV Atlanta Announces 2nd Annual Live On-Air Fund-a-Thon in Conjunction With Georgia Gives Day
In an effort to raise needed funds, People TV will air the 2nd annual live on-air "Fund-a-Thon" in conjunction with Georgia Gives Day
Atlanta, GA, October 30, 2015 (Newswire.com) - People TV Atlanta is participating in Georgia Gives Day, on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Georgia Gives Day is a 24-hour online “flash mob” of giving to support non-profit organizations across Georgia.
People TV – Cable Channel 24 on Comcast - will air ten straight hours of live programming simply titled “People TV Fund-a-Thon” from 12pm EST to 10pm EST on Thursday, 11/12/15 featuring live and taped performances from celebrity and local artist, interviews with leaders of local non-profits, screenings of vintage and new television programs as well as prize give aways throughout the broadcast. People TV hopes the Fund-a-Thon will raise additional public funding to help keep this community-programmed entity afloat. The Fund-a-Thon will also air via live stream at http://www.peopletv.org/Livestream.
