BATON ROUGE, La., January 29, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Under the leadership of MMR President and CEO James “Pepper” Rutland, MMR has grown to become the largest open-shop electrical and instrumentation contractor in the nation. With 30 offices across the Americas, the leading specialty contractor provides electrical construction, maintenance and technical services for clients in the chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, industrial manufacturing, power generation and power development markets.
The MMR facilities in Baton Rouge and Belle Chasse, La., feature the Integration and Panel Fabrication Centers, which provide fabrication and integration services for industrialized control buildings as well as custom consoles, temporary power racks, analyzer sample systems and shelters. The Centers also offer estimating, design and 3D modeling capabilities to clients.
“Extending our services to include enhanced panel and modular control buildings is a vital part of our overall commitment to providing the very best, comprehensive service at MMR,” said Pepper Rutland. “And as we move into the new year, MMR will continue to focus on providing value-added services like the Integration and Panel Fabrication Centers, breaking into new market sectors and expanding our geographic footprint domestically and internationally to meet the demands of our clients,” added Pepper Rutland.
The 38-thousand-square-foot Integration and Panel Fabrication Centers include 14,000 square feet of controlled environment. Both are UL-508A listed panel shops, are UL and CSA listed for Type 4X Industrial Control Panel Enclosures and hold ATEX certification. Each facility is staffed with an inspector who has received Certified Welding Inspector of the American Welding Society/QC1 certifications.
The capabilities of MMR’s Integration and Panel Fabrication Centers extend to all varieties of control panels such as consoles, aluminum and stainless steel coated enclosures marshalling and PLC cabinets. MMR can also uniquely design, fabricate, and construct industrialized control buildings from analyzer shelters to RIE and PDC buildings.
MMR is devoted to ensuring the safety, security and quality of their work, equipping the Centers with secure and state-of-the-art webcam technology that allows customers to monitor their projects from a remote location. Additionally, MMR hosts a secure environment where customers can assess the quality of their project and conduct factory acceptance testing.
MMR’s clients are able to purchase, receive, and store relevant materials and equipment on-site, and at project completion, shipping is made safer, cost-efficient and worry-free through MMR’s coordination of transportation using two 40-ton bridge cranes, with weight cell capabilities, for equipment load out.
“From front-end design to custom fabrication, experience the MMR tradition of success, and the value our Integration and Panel Fabrication Centers can bring to your next project,” concluded Pepper Rutland.
