Performance Architects to Present at Oracle OpenWorld

Performance Architects, a business and technology consulting company, will be presenting two sessions at Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco, CA on October 5th and 6th on Oracle Hyperion Planning and Oracle Enterprise Edition Business Intelligence.

Performance Architects, Inc., a Platinum Level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), and a business and technology consulting company that helps organizations initiate and sustain major improvements in enterprise performance, will be presenting two sessions at Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco, CA on October 5th and 6th, 2011 on Oracle Hyperion Planning and Oracle Enterprise Edition Business Intelligence (OBIEE).

John McGale, Architect and Manager at Performance Architects, will be presenting a session on "Taking Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to the Next Level of Performance" (Session ID #10019 at Moscone West-2001) on Wednesday, October 5th at 11:45 AM PST. This session will cover how performance tuning strategies and techniques such as cache management; how certain data types can affect performance; how to structure reports and analytics to work better with OBIEE's architecture; and how to create a high-performance roadmap for your OBIEE environment.

Ken Chen, Principal at Performance Architects, will be co-presenting a session with Hologic, Inc. on "Bridging the Gap Between ERP and EPM Systems to Shorten Hologic's Financial Close" (Session ID #10047 at St. Francis - Elizabethan CD) on Thursday, October 6th at 3:00 PM PST. This session covers best practices for automating the financial close process, implementing the tool, and setting up a team approach. We will also present lessons learned, such as what the tool does well, where it is evolving, and developer workarounds in focus areas. Hologic develops, manufactures, and supplies diagnostic, medical imaging, and surgical products to serve women's healthcare needs worldwide and is a long-standing Oracle customer with a significant investment in the Oracle product suite. Hologic and Performance Architects partnered to develop drill-through capability from Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) to Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to reduce Hologic's Accounting team's manual work in importing trial balance data into the Oracle system and to enable analysts to drill back to source data.

"We are excited to speak at Oracle OpenWorld again this year, said Ken Chen, Principal at Performance Architects. "We enjoy the opportunity to be able to share our expertise and passion for these solutions, and we appreciate the time at the conference to connect with friends and colleagues."
