Persistent Telecom First Responder Network Not Associated With FirstNet
Sedalia, MO, November 17, 2016 (Newswire.com) - As a point of clarification, Persistent Telecom’s new public safety network is NOT affiliated with the First Responders Network Authority (FirstNet). Persistent Telecom Inc. (PTI) has funded, designed and is building an LTE broadband network in Sedalia, Missouri.
Persistent Telecom Inc. (PTI) owns spectrum that covers four counties in central Missouri. We are deploying an LTE broadband network within our coverage area. Persistent Telecom is NOT participating in the current FirstNet RFP process.
PTI will provide dedicated smart phones and access to the private LTE network for Key Management Personnel (KMP); to include first responders and government officials. The PTI network will create a secure communications bubble covering critical infrastructure for the city of Sedalia and the Missouri State Fairgrounds.
We are testing our network in the coming months in conjunction with local officials and look forward to supporting local authorities at the State Fair in August 2017.
