PerSys Medical Announces Opening of its New Training Center in Houston, Texas

PerSys Medical opens a training center for EMS, law enforcement, and federal medical professionals.

In pursuit of excellence and meeting the needs of EMS, law enforcement, and federal medical professionals, PerSys Medical is proud to announce the opening of its PerSys Medical Training Center (PMTC). The facility, located in Houston, Texas, will offer specialized instructor-led training sessions on varied topics for current and prospective customers.

The first training session, scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2010, will cover Advanced Airway Training and will be led by Dr. Alan Frankfurt, Chief Medical Officer of Advanced Medical Training (AMT). Additional AMT instructors will include Dr. Wesley Taylor, Director of Austere Environment Medical Training Ben Conner, and Tactical and Surgical Expert Mark Butler. The course will cover advanced airway cricothyrotomy, supraglottic airway, intubation, and vehicle extraction. Emphasis will be placed on hands on experience with an opportunity to "act and think through the procedure" in a teaching environment.

"The opening of our Training Center is another exciting milestone for our company. We have long recognized the value of proper training for emergency medicine," says President and CEO Ofer Molad. "In the past, we have been supportive of training whenever possible through both active participation and giving of our time and products. We now have the opportunity to provide training in our own facility and make a much larger impact."
