Perytons expand its ZigBee Analyzers capabilities to include additional Zigbee profiles

Online, January 20, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Perytons Ltd., a leading provider of analyzers for standard and proprietary communication protocols, announced today the release of its latest version of the Perytons Analyzers (V3.0). This revision includes support for the ZigBee Home Automation™, public application profile and the ZigBee RF4CE™ specification, in addition to existing support for the IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee protocol layers. ZigBee Alliance members will be also able to get support for other preliminary profiles not released yet.

The new version allows analyzing data captured by other analyzing tools. This feature enables companies that were using other analyzing tools, which are either no longer supported or are in their way of phasing out from the analyzers market, to analyze previously-captured data gaining all benefits and features of the Perytons Analyzer.

The V3.0 Perytons Analyzer SW release includes the well-known friendly features of the analyzer's previous versions: Time View and Network View used for easy understanding of network topology and transactions, detailed Message View for drilling down to the bit level with hints explaining each field, enhanced Analysis Toolbox. The new revision keeps the compatibility with the Perytons Monitor (user defined Open Source Rules) and Perytons SDK Add-Ons allowing to add proprietary protocols and layers into the analyzer environment.
