Pet Fair In The Park

Online, August 1, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The 6th Annual Pet Fair in the Park, presented by SCART: Surf City Animal Rescue Team, is a fun pet event for the whole family with FREE admission, pets welcome! It will be held at the Long Beach Marine Stadium Park, Sunday, August 21st, from 9:30am - 3pm.

There will be low-cost vaccinations, de-worming, Avid pet micro-chipping, disaster preparedness information, adoptions, fund-raising, agility & frisbee demonstrations, pet vendors, dog contests, food & FUN for the whole family!

SCART will host an opportunity drawing for those who enter, you do not need to be present to win. This event will also help SCART to raise the funds they need to respond to animal needs and assist other agencies during a disaster or crisis and to offer assistance to cities with animal sheltering, pet response and disaster recovery as needed and requested.

Pet Fair in the Park will be located at the Long Beach Marine Stadium Park, 5255 Paoli Way, Long Beach, CA. Remember this event is FREE to the public so grab the whole family and come out to support SCART. We hope to see you there!
