Petworks (https://www.petworks.com), the pet care marketplace for a new generation of pet parents and pros, has partnered with the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC), in an effort to spread awareness about pet end of life care and the caregivers that provide this valuable service.

This initiative is designed to educate pet parents on animal hospice and palliative care, and connect them with trained professionals. Through its Animal Hospice and Palliative Care Certification program, IAAHPC helps elevate the level of care as the pet end-of-life journey moves from "cure to care," while supporting families dealing with the inevitable death of their pet.

"Through this partnership, we look to increase pet parent awareness about pet hospice services," said Michael Caldwell, CEO of Petworks. "We look forward to highlighting professionals who have earned the trusted IAAHPC certification and connect them with pet parents in need. Our pets bring us such joy throughout their lives, and as their guardians we can provide them with comfort and care in their hour of need."

"It's the part of loving pets that's the hardest: their end-of-life journey," said Coleen Ellis, Executive Director of IAAHPC. "The International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care is proud to have Petworks as a Sponsor Partner in educating pet lovers on this part of sharing a beautiful life together."
