South Broadway neighborhood welcomes new outpatient physical therapy clinic
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., February 13, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN), announced the opening of their newest physical therapy clinic. The modern South Broadway location in Englewood, Colorado, marks the seventh facility under the Pro Active Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Brand and the 18th clinic for the company in Colorado. The SoBo clinic, as it’s being called, is located at 2700 S. Broadway, Suite B, at the intersection of South Broadway and Yale.
Directing the facility is Michael “VP” Van Portfliet, PT, DPT, OCS. VP is an alumnus of Regis University with certifications in Advanced Spinal Manipulation (Cert. SMT), Dry Needling (Cert. DN) and Vestibular Rehabilitation (Cert. VRS). He is also a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), giving him the opportunity to become a Clinical Instructor for physical therapists pursuing their residency in orthopedics.
“I’ve always believed in an evidence-based and eclectic approach to physical therapy and I strive to empower my patients to be active participants in the management of their own health and performance,” stated VP. “Partnering with PRN to open this new facility has allowed me to expand my offerings to the south Denver community and give back to those looking to take control of their well-being.”
The SoBo facility will feature a variety of physical therapy services including orthopedic rehabilitation, trigger point dry needling, sports rehab programs, as well as balance and vestibular training. The clinic will also offer comprehensive spine rehabilitation programs and worker’s compensation services.
Bruce McDaniel, CEO of PRN, commented on the new opening, “We are very pleased to open this new location under the Pro Active brand. Pro Active is led by a talented group of PT partners and has been a respected leader of rehabilitation services to patients in the Denver-Metro area for years. It is a great opportunity to serve the needs of the local SoBo community.”
