Physical Rehabilitation Network Opens New Clinic in Poway, CA With Partner, Rick Stauffer, and Brings on New Partner, Yousef Ghandour, at Existing La Jolla Clinic
Carlsbad, CA, July 10, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN), announces the opening of its newest clinic in Southern California. PRN Poway, also known as The Training Room, will mark the 10th clinic in and around the San Diego area with an additional 3 clinics located in Imperial Valley.
The new facility in Poway, is co-owned and managed by Rick Stauffer, PT, SCS, CSCS, PES, who joined PRN in 2015 at the La Jolla center, bringing over 19 years of clinical experience. Stauffer, a native of San Diego, served as the physical therapist and medical coordinator for the San Diego Padres where he worked on injury prevention and rehabilitation of the Major League team and its minor league affiliates. It seems only fitting that The Training Room will feature sports performance programs for all levels, post-operative rehab, youth injury management, and focus on evaluating biomechanics and movement.
"The Training Room will be a great compliment to the network and serve as a high-caliber center where the active population can receive exceptional care," stated Bruce McDaniel, CEO. "With Rick Stauffer's move to Poway, it was also important to find the right partner for La Jolla and we believe we found just that. Yousef Ghandour will serve the community well as he brings a strong commitment to patient care. We are extremely excited to partner with these two excellent therapists to further serve the healthcare needs of residents in the San Diego area."
Leading the UTC/LA Jolla center of excellence will be manager and co-owner Yousef Ghandour, PT, MOMT, FAAOMPT. The latest partner to the PRN network, Ghandour has over 30 years of clinical, teaching and leadership experience. He is currently part of the faculty at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He is also a volunteer clinical instructor at UCSD Family and Preventative Medicine and voluntary adjunct faculty at San Diego State University. Ghandour has developed and contributed to many continuing educational courses that he teaches nationally, bringing added experience to the team.
