Online, May 2, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The PigPen Group, a company based in North Yorkshire, has released a new competition to win a converted chapel house in rural Yorkshire. The competition is the first in a number that the company plans to run over the coming years, with a variety of premium prizes for the winners. Tickets, which are ten pounds, can only be made once two questions have been answered correctly. Entries are made online through the company website at www.pig-pen.co.uk.
The house itself is a detached five bedroom property boasting stunning views, with many of the original period features sympathetically restored. In addition to the property winners will also receive £20,000 to add their own personal touch. To ensure that the prize is completely cost-free, PigPen will pay all of the associated legal fees, as well as the first year's Council Tax and buildings insurance.
"We're delighted to offer this opportunity for people to win a house with views over the beautiful Pennine Way", said Philip Shaw one of the company's directors, "it's a fantastic property and would make for a great family home. The competition launch has been an incredible success and that entrants will be impressed by similar prizes that we've got in the pipeline".
Competitions such as this are subject to strict rules as laid down by the Gambling Commission; The preparation for launch has been extensive, underpinned by comprehensive legal advice and procedures. However the organisers are convinced that this meticulous groundwork has been essential as far too many companies have fallen foul due to lack of organisation and correct legal guidance.
Christian Woodhouse-Kent, another company director continues; "The 'win a house' concept is really straight forward and it's easy to see how people could be tempted to take the opportunity to market a property this way. However, it has taken us over 18 months to make sure that we have everything prepared to ensure the success and legality of the competition. Those who are interested in setting up a similar competition this should not underestimate the time, effort and investment that is required!"
The competition is set to run through the early summer and, once complete, will be followed by a variety of others that will establish PigPen as a high-end competition company.
