Pilani Rajasthan Shridhar University Participates in Indo Global Education Summit 2010
Online, December 7, 2010 (Newswire.com) - This unique event held during 3-5 December 2010 is a sequel to the highly successful Indo-American Education Summit held in 2009. Summit 2010 had sessions on Engineering & IT, Business & Management, Life Sciences & Bio Medicine, Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences. In line with the motto "Educational Excellence Without Borders" of the Indus Foundation, the highlights of the summit included one-on-one meetings between representatives of foreign universities and Indian Institutions for academic collaborations. The 2010 summit had over 100 foreign institutions apart from 400 Indian Participants.

The discussions with the foreign universities were centered on Shridhar University Pilani signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the respective institutions to foster collaboration to promote academic and research interactions as well as scientific cooperation, Student exchange for study, research, or work internships; Co-sponsorship of academic projects, and conferences; Development of special academic programs of mutual interest; Other academic collaboration including curriculum and faculty exchange, etc.
Shridhar University team also had wide ranging interactions with Mr S B Anumolu, Dr M C Das and Dr Ashok Agarwal who are key members in the National Advisory Board for the Summit. Mr S Shiva Pramod Chairman Bangalore Institute of International Management, Bengaluru and Mr Suman K Narasapurapu Business Architect from N2 IT Services, Hyderabad also held discussions with Shridhar University for possible areas of cooperation and collaboration.
