Pink Africa Benefit for Abused African Women Comes to the Atlanta, GA Area

Pink Africa is a non profit organization dedicated to the fight against abuse and neglect of African women. A community benefit will be held to raise funds for these women in the Atlanta, Georgia area on July 2, 2011.

Lawrenceville,GA -Pink Africa, an international organization which fights against the injustices of African women, will bring the 2011 "Heal the Wounds" benefit to the Atlanta, GA area this July. Pink Africa, an organization comprised of both African and U.S. personnel, provides assistance to African women and young girls who have suffered atrocities such as rape, genital mutilation in addition to educational and social injustices through various programs, sponsorships and related services.

The benefit will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 in Lawrenceville, GA, approximately 30 miles north of Atlanta. A tax deductible donation of $30.00 is requested per ticket. The cost of the ticket includes dinner, entertainment, silent auction and video presentation. Proceeds for the benefit will pay for tuition, medical care, clothing and housing for these women.
