Piscología® Pisco Wins Gold Medal at the Spirits International Prestige (SIP) Awards in San Diego

Online, September 23, 2011 (Newswire.com) - SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Piscología® Pisco, an ultra-premium Peruvian white brandy won a gold medal at the Spirits International Prestige (SIP) Awards at the Vin de Syrah Spirit & Wine Parlor in downtown San Diego, CA. The competition, which enlists consumers to form its judging panel, featured 73 judges who participated in a blind tasting of 249 global spirits. Total scores reflected each judge's rating across three areas: aroma, taste and finish. Piscología® was chosen among several other competitive brands and received one of the highest awards.

The Topa Spirits executive team also celebrated its presence in the new Washington State Liquor Control "Super Store" in West Seattle. It is known as Washington's first premier liquor store and is expected to produce the highest-revenue in the state. The Super Store is 45% larger than others, and has a wider selection of liquors, special tastings, and extended hours. The most recent batch of Piscología® pisco recently appeared on the shelves as a listed product with the Washington Liquor Control Board.
