PlagiarismDetect.com Launches a New Version (v3.0) of the Algorithm

Dec. 3 - PlagiarismDetect.com officially announces that its version 3.0 is now live and ready to use. The main feature of the newly-implemented algorithm is that it allows the user to check for plagiarism at the rate five times lower than before.

PlagiarismDetect's Value Deal

Version 3.0 algorithm architecture permits the price to be reduced to 10 cents per page for a perfectly good one-page plagiarism report. The value deal has a name: Standard Quality Check. 10 cents are worth one credit, and one credit is worth 275 words (i.e. one page) checked on Standard Quality.

There are now two plagiarism-check options available: Standard Quality Check and Premium Quality Check. The former requires 1 credit per page and the latter - 5, with the latter being the old algorithm. The old algorithm works the same way it did before and has only faced minor bug fixes.

Highlighted Parts Now Clickable

Now a user can click on algorithm-highlighted parts right in the text to go directly to the source where the match was found. When you are redirected to the source, the system will automatically compare your text with the one available on the webpage. The matching parts will be automatically highlighted right in the source.

PlagiarismDetect is Constantly Evolving

PlagiarismDetect is no longer checking for plagiarism on a sentence basis. Starting with the second version (v2.0) of PlagiarismDetect, it has been breaking the text down into word combinations instead of sentences. This allows the scans to be more deep and profound. In this sense, PlagiarismDetect is a one-of-a-kind service. The benefit of doing so is very significant. Some word combinations (e.g. quotes) are simply too famous to not be identified as plagiarized.

Same as with other plagiarism checking services found online, a difference in one punctuation mark used to make two exact same sentences look different to the system. The in-house algorithm PlagiarismDetect now uses permits to detect plagiarized material regardless of punctuation. It checks the text letters A through Z and numbers 0 through 9. This allows the plagiarism checking system to be more accurate, since punctuation marks are dealt with separately.
