Planesense Fractional Aircraft Ownership Company to Buy Six Pilatus Pc-24 Jets

PlaneSense, Inc. one of the largest and safest fractional aircraft ownership companies in the world, signed a Fleet Aircraft Purchase Agreement with Pilatus Business Aircraft Ltd.

PlaneSense, Inc. one of the largest and safest fractional aircraft ownership companies in the world, signed a Fleet Aircraft Purchase Agreement with Pilatus Business Aircraft Ltd. today, placing a firm launch order for six Pilatus PC-24 jets, and making its expansion into fractional jet programs official.

In an individual ceremony held during the first day of the European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (EBACE), in Geneva, Switzerland, the purchase agreement was signed by the President and CEO of Pilatus Business Aircraft Ltd., Thomas Bosshard, the CEO of Pilatus Aircraft Ltd., Markus Bucher, and the President and CEO of PlaneSense, Inc., George Antoniadis.

The PC-24 jet is the only aircraft combining the speed, range, and cabin size of a medium jet, and also the performance and price of a light jet. This Pilatus jet features the versatility of a turboprop, with short-field performance capability – even on unimproved runways – and the ability to land in as short as 2,690 feet.

“We are delighted to be a PC-24 launch customer because we are confident that this Pilatus jet, with its large cabin, exceptional performance, and trademark large cargo door, will further enhance our fractional aircraft ownership service offering and augment our marketplace reach,” Antoniadis said. “In addition to the initial launch order, we anticipate acquiring many more uniquely capable PC-24s in the future.”

PlaneSense, Inc.’s firm order of six jets is the largest of the Pilatus launch agreements secured. Pilatus is currently developing the PC-24, and anticipates the jet to be certified in the first half of 2017, with customer deliveries commencing shortly thereafter.

Based in Portsmouth, N.H., PlaneSense, Inc. has been in close cooperation with Pilatus for nearly 20 years. The PlaneSense fractional aircraft ownership company manages the largest civilian fleet of Pilatus PC-12 aircraft in the world, and has more experience with the PC-12 than any other aircraft management and maintenance team. PlaneSense, Inc. has achieved steady growth since its inception, and earlier this month took delivery of its 50th Pilatus PC-12.
