Planet Texas Studios Announces New Reel
Austin, TX based Planet Texas Studios announces the debut of their new show reel for 2011.
Online, September 1, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Austin, Texas based animation studio, Planet Texas Studios, Inc., is pleased to announce the debut of their 2011 animation show reel. The reel showcases the company's extensive history in the animation world and continued innovation in the field.
The animation reel contains work from 2011, including PlayFirst's "Egg vs. Chicken" game, clients such as HP and Time Warner cable, among others. All characters were design and animated by designers and animators at Planet Texas Studios, with the exception of "Dan Doofus" who was designed by Frank Gabriel. Credit for the music on the reel goes to Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. The company is currently working on a variety of confidential video and game projects to be announced later this month.
Planet Texas Studios, Inc., (formerly known as Heart of Texas Productions) was founded in 2008 by animation veteran R. Don Smith. The studio develops 2D and and 3D animation design and production company for broadcast, advertising, interactive, games and educational media.
