Plant A Tree With The National Forest

Blue Mountain Water Joins Forces With The National Forest Helping To Keep The Environment Green

The National Forest is a forest in the making, transforming 200 square miles of central England. Already more than 7.8 million trees have been planted and woodland cover has increased from 6% to 18%.It is a bold project, blending new and maturing woodland within a wide variety of landscapes, presenting opportunities for many to take part in its development.

The National Forest is about large-scale landscape change that has already delivered regeneration. It will increasingly help us to address climate change and to value and enjoy our natural environment.

Planting trees remove the excess of carbon dioxide and air pollutants in the atmosphere, which includes ozone, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxide. This then gives us all the oxygen supply for living life day after day. Many of us live in big cities and towns planting trees can reduce ozone levels in these areas. Trees affect the climate by the effects of the sun, wind and rain.

They can reduce the sun temperature by providing shade.
As a company the environment is at the heart of our business, we provide energy efficient water coolers and natural spring water sourced from the National Forest in Derbyshire. The National Forest is one of the country's boldest environmental projects and won the inaugural sustainable development award in 2008. It is transforming 200 square miles in the centre of England.

Blue Mountain Water support the plant a tree campaign and are IS014001 accredited with constantly engaging in the latest topics with passionate eco-friendly companies, social media sites and other forms of media.
