CHICAGO, February 2, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Playbook Advisory (www.playbookadvisory.com) announced today the closing of two Chicago area businesses that were successfully managed and brokered by Jim Peddle, the firms President and Founder.

The first closing for $1.275mm was for an established Automobile Repair and Service business located in Aurora, Illinois. The seller, a 30-year veteran, chose Playbook Advisory as its exclusive business broker to divest one of its three stores located in Chicago.

We are off to a great start for 2018 and believe we will exceed the number of business sales from 2017 based on our strong pipeline of businesses for sale. The business was purchased by a private investor seeking to acquire and operate his first automotive repair store. Financing for the real estate and business purchase was provided by U.S. Bank, a leading national provider of SBA loans for business acquisitions. 

The second closing Playbook Advisory announced was a pet services company located in Barrington, Illinois. The seller purchased the business over ten years ago from the founder and was ready to move on to retirement in 2018. The buyer was generated from an ad with Bizbuysell that the broker showcased online during the listing engagement. The purchase is the second made by the buyer in the pet services industry.
