I have great news - Several Francis Stevens Education Campus students participated in a writing workshop for the 826 National creative workshop, and about 25 students at FSEC are now published Authors/Artists! I Live Real Close To Where You Used To Live Kids' Letters to Michelle Obama (and to Sasha, Malia, & Bo), is a book that has been published and will go on sale this week!
We are planning several remarkable events - but also wanted to let you know that you can get your very own copy from Mr. Canavan in the Out of School Time Office (before/aftercare) for $15 - proceeds will go to the 826 National and to the FSEC OST Program where they will fund additional parent engagement programs (like our Back to After School Night, Early Stages Pizza Party and Easter Egg Hunt etc.)
