PME Appoints Kristin Elliott as Chief Executive Officer
Precision Measurement Engineering, an international water sensor company announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Kristin M Elliott as Chief Executive Officer. Elliott will bring a new vision to PME with plans to pursue new markets.
San Diego, CA, January 13, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Precision Measurement Engineering, Inc (PME), an internationally known oceanographic and freshwater instrument design corporation announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Kristin M Elliott as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Elliott, 32, succeeds her father, Michal Head, 64, who has stepped down as chief executive officer, as part of a transition plan.
Michael, who ran PME for 32 years, had previously announced his plans to withdraw from top management and pursue other interests such as focusing on new product design and engineering for the company. He will act in an advisory role and Chairman of the Board, remaining with the company through the next few years.

Elliott, daughter of Michael, has worked for PME for over 15 years. She obtained her M.B.A. from California State University, San Marcos three years ago. She has marketing, new business, strategic management and operation experience.
