PODS And Greater Albuquerque Habitat For Humanity Host Donation Drive At Six Lowe's, Oct. 22
Bulding material donations will be accepted from 9 am to 4 pm on Oct. 22 at PODS® containers placed at six Lowe's Home Improvement Stores in Albuquerque, Los Lunas and Rio Rancho to help build homes. All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity.
Online, October 14, 2011 (Newswire.com) - PODS Moving and Storage of Albuquerque is partnering with Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity and Lowe's Home Improvement Stores to host a one-day donation drive on Oct. 22 to collect new or gently used building materials.
Donations will benefit ReStore, Habitat for Humanity's resale storefront in Albuquerque. Proceeds generated from sales go to Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity to purchase new materials to build or rehab homes for those in need of affordable housing.
Suggested donations: New or gently used building materials, windows, millwork, tools, flooring, doors, appliances, furniture, gardening tools and cabinets. All donations must be in good working order and are tax deductible.
