Polito's Pizza to Donate 10% of Sales to Handi-ABLE Project
Sales from Stevens Point location to assist disabled man's two-month long journey
Online, May 24, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Polito's Pizza, the popular family-owned pizzerias in Wisconsin, has announced that 10% of the sales from their Stevens Point location on Sunday, May 29 will go to the Handi-ABLE project, also based in Stevens Point.
The Handi-ABLE project is the brainchild of Matthew Kluender. Mr. Kluender will attempt to travel from Wisconsin to California via wheelchair over a two-month period. He hopes his journey will demonstrate that those with disabilities are capable of achieving challenging goals. After learning of this project, Polito's Pizza announced their May 29th drive to assist Mr. Kluender.
