Practice Management Institute Faculty to Present Two Sessions at the National College of Rheumatology Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Practice Management Institute® (PMI) today announced that two of its faculty members have been asked to present at the National College of Rheumatology's Annual Meeting, November 9 and 10 in Washington, D.C.

Practice Management Institute® (PMI) today announced that two of its faculty members have been asked to present at the National College of Rheumatology's Annual Meeting, November 9 and 10 in Washington, D.C.

PMI faculty members, Rose B. Moore, CMC, CMOM, CMIS, CMCO, CPC, and Sunjanel Avecilla, CMC, CPC, CMIS, CMOM, will be on hand to deliver two presentations during the CORC Pre-Meeting session, November 10, aimed at improving revenue and management skills.

Moore's keynote address is designed to inspire practice managers and administrators, entitled: "The World's Best Managers Do Manage Differently - Find Your Strengths for Efficiency!" The session will address the roles of the manager and staff communication techniques,

Avecilla will share timely information on how to identify the most common denials and rejection edits in an effort to minimize losses in her presentation, "Improving Accounts Receivable for Profitability." She will discuss how practice management system tools can directly assist in streamlining outstanding accounts to increase revenue and identify tracking mechanisms to secure accurate and timely reimbursement.

The CORC Pre-Meeting Courses are primarily focused on helping practice managers manage a profitable practice. These sessions offer attendees with a specific interest a unique learning opportunity. A separate registration is required. Faculty members will also be on hand to address attendee's coding, billing, insurance or practice management questions.
