Pradesh Today Will Be Launched In Madhya Pradesh And Chhattisgarh
Online, February 9, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The leading media house of Madhya Pradesh, Pradesh Today Media Group is going to launch its evening news paper "Pradesh today" soon in MP and CG. Apart from web news, Pradesh today media group is also involved in publishing daily journal. It is reported that Pradesh today is also going to launch regional TV channel after establishing a series of Pradesh today in MP and CG. Hradayesh dixit is CMD and editor in chief of this group.
Having a successful career in print and electronic media for nearly two decades, Hradayesh dixit, Editor in Chief, Pradesh Today said, "Evening daily journal of Pradesh Today probably will start from February". Pradesh Today daily journal will be published from Jabalpur, Gwalior, Satna, Raipur and Bilaspur with the magazine after its publication from Bhopal. Sources said that it will be probably be the first evening daily which is going to be launched at such a large scale.
The media group has started putting together a team in the Capital. It has hired Satish Pimple as CEO, Devesh kalyani has moved from Raj Express, joined the group as regional editor. Dr Sudhir Sharma the chairman of VNS Educational Group also joined with the group. Ajit singh left the Patrika group, The New York Times Satna editor Biswatara, Bhaskar Jabalpur editor Puspendra Solanki and news editor of Naidunia Sumit Sharma also gave the influx.
The website responsibility of Pradesh today has been assigned to Paras nayak who had been closely associated with news portal conceptualization, implementation and worked as an I.T consultant from London. Mr Nayak said "http://www.pradeshtoday.com/ has many aspects related to media such as live TV, E-magzine, E-paper, World Cup Campaign, Citizen Journalism and language support in Hindi and English on a single platform".
Madan Awasthi also has been included after his resignation from Jabalpur Bhaskar Group. Editor Vijay Shukla joined Pradesh today after his resignation from Gwalior Hindi Mail. After leaving the responsibility from Sahara TV, Tahsen zaidi will handle Raipur edition of CG. Apart from this, there are also various big names in circulation associated with Pradesh today from marketing sector. Updesh Awasthi, Mohit Srivastava from Patrika, Gufran from Bhaskar also included in the group. Source also says that some veterans from Delhi and other metros are also expected to be included shortly with the newspaper.
