Online, August 11, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Wooster, OH --- PRC, leaders in communications technologies and language development systems, has been selected as one of Northeast Ohio's Top 75 Workplaces of 2010 in a recent survey coordinated by The Cleveland Plain Dealer and conducted by Workplace Dynamics LLC.
For more than forty years PRC has provided alternative and augmentative communication devices, computer access products, and other assistive technology to children and adults with speech disorders caused by autism, cerebral palsy, ALS, and numerous other conditions.
91% of PRC employees voluntarily completed a blind survey, which was developed specifically to identify top places to work in Northeast Ohio, based entirely on the opinions of employees within participating companies. A total of 129 companies were involved.
"As an employee-owned company we are proud of our high level of participation," states David L. Moffatt, president of PRC. "This is indicative of the same positive energy that our employees bring to serving those who benefit from our products. Plus, it gives us high quality employee feedback that will be of great value in guiding the forward progress of our company."
Not surprisingly, PRC employee retention is extremely high at an average of 15 years.
