Prema LaNay Selects SESAC, Inc. As Performing Rights Organization

Online, October 26, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Once found by legendary names in the music industry
before the public ear, Prema LaNay Owsley has made herself the new buzz with a rich, fresh, and entertaining style of writing. Some songwriters are known for dance, pop, r&b and, other specific genres. Owsley has been able to deliver for most of those types and has a desire to venture into country.

An exciting move was made as of October 16, 2009, when Prema officially joined SESAC, Inc. through the help of the Atlanta Associate Director, Cappriccieo Scates. In her own words, Prema stated, "SESAC made me feel like they also understood the artistry part of the art unlike a lot of organizations only understand the financial part."

Since 2005, Owsley was a member of ASCAP and decided after one meeting, that SESAC was where her journey should transfer her next. SESAC has became a home for great names such as Bryan Michael Cox, Chrisette Michele, Bow Wow, and Cassandra Wilson. The performing rights organization is one of three in the United States alongside ASCAP and BMI.
