Printed.com Hires 3 New Agencies In Marketing Push

Online company Printed.com has stepped up its campaign to become the largest B2B website for ordering print in the UK.

Digital print outfit Printed.com has made three major appointments in its ongoing initiative to become the biggest company of its kind in the UK.

The company, previously known as the Digital Print Partnership, was relaunched under its new name in October of last year. Having started life as a wholesale trade operation, Printed.com has since evolved into a site that is becoming increasingly popular with designers and small businesses due to the opportunity it offers to outsource the production of leaflets and flyers, business cards, stationery, calendars and other marketing materials. Printed.com founder Nicholas Green stated that the company presents 'an easier way to buy high-quality print.'

'Clients are viewing our online offering as an easy, accessible way to buy into high-quality digital production. From designers to SMEs, the site gives customers the opportunity to offer digital print to their clients without capital investment.'

The company has appointed direct marketing agency Proctor & Stevenson to raise their profile with potential clients. At the same time, SEO agency Blowfish has been hired to improve search engine visibility and a press office will be established through PR agency Threepipe.

Printed.com is the online branch of digital print and marketing technology group Tangent, which recently backed the advertising push with an investment of more than £300,000 - starting with promotion via Google and other search engines. Further strategies will include direct mail and the use of a specially-developed animated video. On the hardware side, the company have acquired a new HP Indigo 7500 press - capable of dealing with large volumes of high-quality print - to add to their existing suite of resources.

Printed.com founder Nicholas Green commented, '2011 was an incredible year for Printed.com and 2012 will see us build on those foundations. Our work with these three dynamic agencies will help us to achieve this goal, and the team looks forward to seeing the exciting developments we have planned for these three key components of business.'
